Care for Assets, Resources and Obligations (CARO) recently organized a compelling seminar titled "People Matters, We Matters, Our Opinion Matters, Democracy Matters" at Wish Cafe and Restaurant in Muradpur, Chittagong. The event, held on Saturday, April 20, brought together esteemed guests and speakers to discuss critical issues surrounding youth empowerment and democratic participation in Bangladesh.
The seminar welcomed Chittagong University's newly appointed Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Abu Taher, as the chief guest. Dr. Md. Abu Taher delivered invaluable insights into the challenges facing the education system and the urgent need to develop essential skills and leadership qualities among the youth. He emphasized the pivotal role of young people in driving the nation's progress and commended CARO for its visionary initiatives.
Special guest M. Nazer Hossain, Vice President of the CAB central committee, lauded CARO's efforts in fostering youth engagement and stressed the importance of addressing both local and global issues. The seminar featured enlightening speeches from CARO's co-founders, Md. Khaled Saifullah and Arafat bin Yusuf and other distinguished speakers.
Presentations by CARO's intern, Sabekun Nahar, and young organizers, MA Hanif Noman and Md. Khairul Islam, highlighted the significance of people's opinions and democratic practices in driving Bangladesh towards progress and development.
