Prize Giving Ceremony for "53 Years of Independence: Expectations and Achievements" Event by CARO

The non-profit private organization Care for Assets, Resources and Obligations (CARO) hosted the award distribution ceremony for the online event titled "53 Years of Independence: Expectations and Achievements" at Wish Cafe and Restaurant in Muradpur, Chittagong.

 

 

Chittagong University's newly appointed Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Abu Taher, graced the occasion as the chief guest, while Md. Abu Taher and special guest M. Nazer Hossain, Vice President of CAB Central Committee, attended as special guests. CARO's founder and researcher A N M Nooruddin also joined the event virtually from the US, presiding over the proceedings.

 

The online event, moderated by co-founder Arafat bin Yusuf, commenced with the award ceremony. Chittagong University's Vice-Chancellor and CARO's co-founder Md. Khaled Syfullah presented prizes to the winners of the competition. Participants from 40 districts across the country showcased their creative talents through written and video content submissions, reflecting on the developments and aspirations of post-independence Bangladesh.

 

Hundreds of students from various educational institutions participated enthusiastically, demonstrating their vision for the nation's future. Following the competition guidelines, the top five contestants from each category were announced as winners on 27th March 2024.

 

CARO extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and expresses gratitude to the participants, guests, and volunteers for their invaluable contributions towards the success of the event.
